Hot Chocolate!

Stop by the CMA tent on Tuesday, February 20, between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. We’ll be set up along 10th St. outside BSU. We’ll have hot chocolate on this cold and rainy day, and friendly people to encourage you, rejoice with you, or commiserate with you on your way to or from the Career Fair.

Disaster Relief Training

After the first responders have stabilized a situation, victims of natural disasters still have months, even years, of recovery ahead. For example, parts of Texas are still recovering from Hurricane Harvey (from August 2017), and many islands, such as Puerto Rico, were devastated by Hurricane Maria (September 2017).

Would you like to help? There are opportunities for Disaster Relief Training provided by the Missouri Baptist Convention. Many other denominations and organizations also organize training and trips.

In addition, AmeriCorps supports service around the nation. (Hopefully their web site will be active again soon!)

New Resources Page Added

A new page has been added to provide worship planning and Bible study resources. While CMA does not endorse any particular resource, these are some that members have used in their ministries and that may be helpful to you. God be with you on your faith journey!

Opening Week! Extreme Rec Night!

Please join us on Monday of opening week, August 14, at 7 pm in the Gale-Bullman Multi-Purpose Building for a fun night of sports and games. Snacks provided by CMA member organizations.

We would also invite you to check out the calendar, and the web sites of the various organizations, for more activities going on during Opening Week, and also during the semester. Our hope is that each person can find what they need to grow closer to God through one of our ministries.
